Rear axle question?
I have a 12 bolt 373 open diff in my 71. I have found a later model rear out of a 78 with a 373 posi. I plan on swapping the carriers when i rebuild my axle. Are they the same carrier? And will this work?

Ok I cant be perfectly sure but I'm nearly positive that if the 78 is also a 12 bolt then the carrier should work in your 71
