Finally got a 72 4x4

well i looked for about a year now and finally came across a good deal. i pick up this 72 for $1200. its a 1/2 ton with a 4 inch lift and 35's. it has a 355ci v8 and a 4 speed. it has lots of rust and bondo but is mechanically solid. I drove it 2.5 hours home after buying it at 70mph with no problems so i'd say i got a good deal. what you guys think?

Yeah, I would say that's a good buy, even with the rust. The drive train is worth $1200 easy.

Re: Finally got a 72 4x4

thanks guys...i though so. I'd have to have more than $1201 for it cause i spent $150 in gas just to get it home lol. ive already been offered $2000 for it and turned it down. bad thing about the whole deal is me and a bubby took my brothers truck up to get it since it gets better mpgs than mine and my buddy hit a deer in my brothers truck and did $3700 worth of damage.
