Re: 67 Small Rear Window? Whats the story?
Cool! I had a '73. A ffriend's dad was VP of Head Ski (AMF). We got ours cheap. My friend with the '71 has some rare extras. Not sure if he's still hoarding or not . Thanks for the offer on info. I may just need to pick your brain one day. I ride a '90 FLST I bought new. I ended up with one with the defective left case. I decided to go with an S&S 96".

Re: 67 Small Rear Window? Whats the story?
This Fall I bought what is supposed to be a 1969 GMC. A GM dealership checked out the VIN # and they say it is a 1969. It has the small window in the back. Was it a option in 1969 or could it have been a early 1969 or late 1968 run at the factory and had the window installed???

Re: 67 Small Rear Window? Whats the story?
Tim's right, no '69's but I'm pretty sure there have been a few documented early-build '68's with the small window ... left over parts from previous model year was the best guess.

Re: 67 Small Rear Window? Whats the story?
Thats true, but from everything I have read the cabs are not even close to the smaller brothers.

Re: 67 Small Rear Window? Whats the story?
I love it classic Chevys and Harleys. This thread just keeps gettin better. Here is a pic of the 71 as an Flh, which is how it is now. When I get the superglide together I am going to move the motor and trans over and it will be back to stock once again. and then I will build another motor for the FL. I also came across a pic of the 68 xlh while I was lookin. And we all love pics. And just to try and save the tread alittle, I am going to call the guy about the 67 today, who knows I may give the wife a good reason to get mad at me.

Re: 67 Small Rear Window? Whats the story?
I have seen many SPIDS over the years with different descriptions of available options for the 1967 model year truck models ! It appears from the many SPIDS I have seen that the different Mfg plants across the country used their own descriptions of options that sometimes differed from the regular production option codes and descriptions printed in the dealer order guides. The A10 code : Window, Full-View Rear: (Cabs) $40.00 $3.05 $43.05 was used for the models years 1964,1965,1966 & 1967 with no change in cost ! There is no mention of a panoramic window in any order guide between 1964-1967.............just my 2 cents
