Shwing! Lookee what I got for $100!`

A 1978 GMC Suburban! No engine or trans. This is the donor truck for my 70. I'm getting the power disc brakes, power steering and the rear axles out of this. I found a web site to get the tilt wheels out of these trucks to work in ours too, but I can't find it now.

I thought this was the The 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC Pickups Message Board. Not the 1967-1980.

If you re-read the original post, it's a donor for his '70.

Is it time for a group hug or something??? LOL

lofly'a:
Here is a link to get to the site for the conversion:

http://www.stovebolt.com/links/trucksites.htm

Under the GENERAL INFO SITES is one called Shane's 72 Chevy Page. It is the fourth one from the bottom.
I couldn't get the file to open. I had to download it to my computer.

I screwed up. That isn't the site. This one was for a Chevy Van conversion. I'll keep looking.

<------- does this mean I can't be here?

That is a pretty good score, too bad the body isn't in better shape. I bet after you pull the stuff you need you can sell the rest and actually MAKE money on it!

Good luck with the parts swappin.
