Squarebody on the cover of the new issue of American Truck

Congrats guys, it looks like the '73-87 Squarebody C10 is the fastest growing segment of classic truck! A good example that reflects this trend is the cover of the new issue of American Truck on sale now. I have a new Squarebody project that will start appearing in Classic Trucks pretty soon, and my '73 is going to start showing up in Custom Classic Trucks again. And yep, I still have my '79, C10 Big10, law enforcement, and CCT readers might recognize as the Americruise truck.

Good to see another issue coming out. Its even better that its got some 73-87 stuff. CCT used to have some articles on our years, but that seems to have dried up.

yeah really. CCT has gotten away from us squares since you left John. I am glad to hear that this mag is coming out and your trucks are going to be back in CCT and CT again. It's great to see you keeping this alive...

Thanks for your squarebody dedication John, I enjoy seeing more coverage of our trucks in magazines. It gets old seeing all those 67-72's...

If you can find Super Chevy on the stand in Ontario, it should be on the newsstand there. That'll save you a trip through the tunnel... You're in Windsor, right?

If not, you should be able to find it at most Wal-Marts, or Barnes & Noble.

Re: Squarebody on the cover of the new issue of American Truck

Gee you guys, I answered the first reply, and then started to read the other replies.

Check out the C10 Get-Together coverage on CCT's web, I snuck in a late Square in the coverage. www.customclassictrucks.com Its on the home page.

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback.

Jeff, I'll be using the fuse block cover in either the '75, or the '73 I'm not sure yet.

Chapters... Yeah I used to go to the one Kelowna, BC. What a neat book store.

Thanks,

Re: Squarebody on the cover of the new issue of American Truck

Thanks for sharing John, I have to track down a copy now. It's hard to believe it's been almost 6 years since the first square was seen on the pages of Classic Trucks, and we still don't get a lot of coverage.

Personally I LOVE the 67-72s, but I do hope the trend continues toward covering more squares.
