Cargo Lamp
Hello
My 72 Chevy came from Factory as a Custom/10 Deluxe. One option I am seeking is the Cargo Lamp Assembly. Has anyone ever installed it on a a truck that did not come with it? I would hate to drive a hole especially in the wrong spot and things not turn out in a correct manner. Thanks to all Lewis |

Re: Cargo Lamp
I added a cargo light to my truck.
The assembly manual has the EXACT location and size of the holes you need to make.

Re: Cargo Lamp
I did mine on my 69....sorry no pics...but what I did was I used the dome lamp inside the cab to guide me....I removed it and drilled a hole smackcenter of it. Then from there I cut a square from the outside the size I needed to fit the cargo lamp....it pretty easy.

Re: Cargo Lamp
Orginal switch is a slider mounted under the dome light.

Re: Cargo Lamp
Just the other day I found a cargo light housing/switch on a 71. While I was removing it I made some quick measurements for fitting it to a 70 cab. The provided link confirmed I measured correctly.
