T-3 headlights

Whats the big deal with T-3 headlights? I collected a few when they were cool. Never really understood why everyone got a woody when they seen them . Fill me in.

They are 30 year old origianls.
People looking for stock parts drool over them.
I have a small one on the GMC front end that is still original...and still working.

I have a complete set of T-3s or whatever they are called on the front of my 68 and they still work. Anyone want them? They dont matter much to me but if someone wants them I could be persuaded to give them up and put some new ones in.

For those going original... the T3 headlight are what was used as original equipment. Note the triangle with the T3 cast into the headlight.

our 65 chevelle had 4 t3s in it, and as far as I know they all still work

I dont see what the fuss is either, I seriously doubt I could get anything for them if I tried to sell em

Now that they are made in reproduction, they aren't worth much...but 10 years ago, a restorer would have given an eye tooth for a full set of working T3s.
