Re: What is your trucks name
well my truck's name is Thomas. My grandson actually came up with it...he's 5 and he loves Thomas the Train. So when we were out in the shop taking the 250 six cylinder out of the truck and he asked what i was doing..and i said" taking out the engine" he got so upset. Engine to him was train..and didn't like it that I was taking out the engine! LOL, so i showed him the 350 and told hime we were putting in the new engine, he smiled and said " you're putting in a NEW ENGINE in Thomas the truck!" so...the rest was history...Thomas it is...

Re: What is your trucks name
My wife calls my truck Ellie Mae because she says she felt like Ellie Mae Clampet the first time she went for a ride in it. She kept telling me I was going to have to buy her a piece of rope to use for a belt.

Re: What is your trucks name
The Beast.
Because of it's awesome good looks. It started with my wife but I didn't like it. When we moved to Wentzville, our Pastor started calling that thing the Beast too. Others caught on and well, the Beast stuck. So - the Beast she is. And yes, it's a she. If you don't touch her just right she slaps or gives you the silent treatment.

Re: What is your trucks name
My friend John helped me with most of the work on it since I bought it and asked me how many bales of hay I could get in my Haywagon. Once I put the camper shell on it became the Covered Haywagon.

Re: What is your trucks name
When my mom first saw my blazer in all its glory at my house she said "What are you going to do with that ol' critter?" so that's were I got my screen name. 99% of the time I just call it "the blazer". On the other hand the 76 and 78 trucks in my sig get called bigred and papa smurf respectively due to their paint colors. Usually its shortened to B.R. or P.S. when talking to my truck buddies.

Re: What is your trucks name
When I purchased my '72 the seller made me promise him that I would keep "her name the same, and treat her right". Well several years later her name is still SHIRLEY, don't know why SHIRLEY but thats what it is.

Re: What is your trucks name
One guy at work called it one fast turd. My son refers to it as Daddy's loud truck. My wife just said Money Pit. That might be in reference that not too long ago I just had my T10 installed along with a posi. I refer to it as Rigginstine's Monster. In school they called me the riggineer. I figured after leaving florescent green on some suspension parts and a skull shifter that's a little Frankenstein-ish, why not. Course it does have alot of surgery scars....

Re: What is your trucks name
I call mine bloodline since my grandparents had a '69 and '72 both long beds and my dad had a '69 short bed and I have a '69 short bed so these trucks are in my blood hence the name and hopefully when I have kids I can keep the line going and maybe even pass down my truck but thats gonna be a while away since I'm only 16.
