Unidentified radiator fitting
Im getting close to getting my truck running I've got the transmission lines instlaled and put the radiator in tonight. It has this extra fitting on it and I think its for an ac truck but I'm not sure. Should I just plug it? If so, brass plug, or will that mess with the copper in the radiator?

looks like heater hose return fitting, not normal for 67-72's, and yes plug with PTFE tape wont hurt

plug it or the one on the pump and use the rad fitting your call

If it is an automatic with a V-8 I would use it. Here is a diagram showing the heater hose configurations for our trucks.
