Re: Chute buckles

67sss, I believe Robert is referring to the (67 only) seatbelt buckles.
Too bad too, I believe you sold a set in the past day or two.

Keep looking Robert, they crop up every so often.

Re: Chute buckles

Irving air chute company made the buckles for the military in the second world war for their parachutes. They were commissioned by GM in 1967 to proivide the buckles for their seat belts, hence "chute" buckles. Today, they make the chute system on the space shuttles.

Re: Chute buckles

Is this what you need?
just the male chrome ends, no webbing.

If so you can have them, but I'm looking for a small part also that I hope you may have.

Re: Chute buckles

I need all the little brackets tacked on the rear axle to hold the brake line down.
You can still have the 2 seat belt parts even if you dont have what I need.

Re: Chute buckles

All you need are the 2 chrome ends right? its from a set off shoulder harnesses so I'm keeping the webbing so I know the correct size to remake for my truck.
I'll cut them off of the webbing and ship to you it cant be much so its on me.

Pm me your address
