Door Latch...Whats The Deal?

I put new door lock cylinders in my 68 today. The drivers side went ok and works like it should, my problem is the passenger side, there's no lock mechanism for the latch that i can see. No wonder the lock rod is missing on that door!! I think the door might be off of a 67 because the vent window assembly is 67. All the latches should be the same though right?? Seems like every time i turn around there's a new road block! Well enough of my rant, just wondering if any one ran into the same problem, or had any thoughts on this. Whats the quality of the repop door latches like? Thanks, Joseph

Re: Door Latch...Whats The Deal?

You sure the rod just isn't there? Better off getting a latch assy / rod from the parts board. Should have someone there with a spare.
