Re: where to buy a windshield???
Swap meet, there is a vendor that hits the swaps around this area.
I just saw him yesterday at the Decatur Swap. I know he will be at Pate the last weekend in April. I'm sure they are at the ones in Austin too. IIRC Knee knockers were about 250, and 64-66 were around 120.

Re: where to buy a windshield???
have you called the local auto glass guys?
I had one installed in my truck last year by Elite Auto glass. They had the option of the all clear windshield or the windshield with the green on the top 4 (or so) inches. The all clear was a couple hundred more because they didn't stock it. |

Re: where to buy a windshield???
check local and have them install it, the real saving comes in the freight.......I only paid $125.00 for a tinted one here locally (for a 66 gmc) not installed plus the rubber.

Last time I needed a W\S I used Safelite Auto Glass, they were reasonable and put it in too.

Re: where to buy a windshield???
Any place that can get PPG can get you one. I had one ordered thru the local glass place, and it was 89.00 for a new PPG windshield for my 64....total 150.00 installed with new gasket....
