307 ?
I removed the tired old 307 from my 69 the other night and have the rebuilt 350 ready to put in. My question is does the 307 and the 327 have the same crank? I have had several people tell me they want the 307 for the crank. If this is the case I might just sit on it a while instead of selling or giving away.

The 307 crank is shorter stroke than a 350 crank.
Last year I used a 307 crank in a 350 block which made a nice 4 bolt main 327 engine. I have already gotten another 307 crank on the shelf in my shop waiting for the next engine I build.

Cheap Scat rods and Hyperutectic 327 (4.030 bore) pistons from Summit.

You can use the 307 crank AND RODS in the 350 block to make a 327.

Yes, a 307 and 327 crank are the same. (all 307 are large journal, while 327 is small journal except 1968 and heavy truck) The internal balance is a bit different, but if you have it balanced it will be fine. Kinda the same thing with a 305 and a 350. Same stroke, but mixed results if you don't rebalance the assembly.
