Power steering question?

I am adding power steering to my 65 C10. Currently the truck is completely apart. Is a good idea to do this install with just the rolling chasis while the cab is off of it. Obviously all I can do is the new (Captain Fab) adapter bracket and mount the new P/S box. Or do I need to wait until everything is all back together? Thanks for any help.

Re: Power steering question?

It would be easier to do it now. If your making your hoses I would wait till you get the front sheetmetal on before you make them. (clearance issues) If your using OE replacement hoses and your engine and pump are installed go ahead and connect the hoses.

Re: Power steering question?

It is much easier to do with the truck apart. There is no problems with getting the box in the correct location.
