Belt Snappage
Any reason why both the AC and Alternator Belts would snap at the same time on a 350???

Re: Belt Snappage
Could be coincidence too, but yeah, check your water pump and AC compressor. I found the Gates v-belts kind of suck. I had one disintegrate and leave me stranded last week. Goodyear Gatorbacks are the ones to use. I just ordered a spare one from Summit. Local parts places may or may not have them.

Re: Belt Snappage
Could be that only one snapped because of a problem, but then it got between the other belt and pulley and snapped it too. This just happened to my neighbor, his alternator locked up but it took out the other 2 belts on his '79.
