Anyone else ask about other stuff. Lets get this thread finished. Still lots of good interior pcs, door panel, arm rest, visors, dash pad, handles, steering column, hood emblems, mirrors, hood hinges, etc!!!!!!!!!! Make an offer if you want on combo deals or just make an offer if you want on whatever.

Bob, The high hump went to frank since i didn't hear back from you within 24hrs. They show up every month on here so I'm sure you can find another.

Frank, payment recvd, i should be able to ship in the next couple of days when I'm home.

Geez Thanks, I am new to this club. not sure what to make of the classified "forum" way of doing business. I guess the almighty dollar rules to some.. Didnt know about the 24 hour cut off .
Oh ya, Congratulations on your buy brother ! Way to go. Use it in good health

Re: Parting BBC 1969 GMC c2500 Super Custom!

In Vintage Windmills Defense, he said that he gives buyers 24 hours to let him know at the first of the thread. I personally think thats a very nice way of doing it, it gives guys a chance to decide. Sellers can't wait for days for a buyer to decide, then we'd miss a sell, trust me I know I've been selling on here since 2001. If you want to buy something somewhere else online or even at a store, if you don't buy it when you first see it, your taking a chance on it being sold before you come back to get it. According to board rules all someone had to say is "I'll take it" and he could of sold it. I like the 24 hour deal alot better, the seller is being courteous.

Re: Parting BBC 1969 GMC c2500 Super Custom!

Ill agree with you, the seller is of no fault , my mistake, it was not as prompt of a response on my part as it could have been. My problem is getting jammed by someone who knew I was there first but happened to know the sellers paypal address and sent the payment AFTER I agreed to buy the part and BEFORE aknowledging to buy the part and BEFORE the seller could even decide who was the first in line to buy the part.
I'm just re- learning something I already knew.Just thought it would be different here.

Bob, I believe you are mistaken. Frank said he was sending payment before you agreed to take it. He did nothing wrong, and i was just following the rules I posted in post #1 which, like Randy said, are more lenient than the board rules!

I just verified everything was fair which it was- here's how it went down:
I posted this on 3-11 at 5:27PM

You then had 24 hours to respond, which you didn't.

Then frank said he'd take it on 3-12 at 6:11pm

Bob,

Also high humps pop up every week on here so its just a matter of time. Post a WTB ad and you'll probably have one in no time.

Re: Parting BBC 1969 GMC c2500 Super Custom!

Also, I've decided to make the box and frame into a trailer. No serious interest in that anyways.

Right door is great except for rust through on the lower front vertical part. Bottom edge and seam are good, no dents, just extra holes on outside. left fender has no rust through or pin holes, even in cup, however it is dented pretty bad up higher.

pics below are for my67c20. Everything is solid on the roof from what I can tell except for the inside visor area. Those are scratches in the paint in the 1st photo, not bubbling. Surface rust on the outside is what you see here. I am scrapping cab so patch panels can be cut out with fire wrench

Randy,

Its pretty good for the price. There was a real nice one here recently for $185 that sold. I havent tried to clean it yet. Here are some pics, the last 2 show the small amount damage which as you can see is pretty minor. I think it may clean up well. Some square sticker residue on there that should come off too.
Note the last pic is just the normal mounting hole with a tiny crack there. This is on the underside.

I'll take some pics when I get the dash out. I'm not sure what shape its in, was supposedly functional but will check for splices

Hi,
If it came with the th400, would you have the bracket that bolts to the frame , that the linkage pivots in ? Still interested in the radiator. Maybe the slip yoke and drive shaft ?
Thanks !
