Bolt hole on front of battery tray
What is the bolt hole just under the tray on the right side (passenger side when bolted in)?
It was on my original tray and on the replacement I just got.

Re: Bolt hole on front of battery tray
I think it is for the a/c lines clamp.

Re: Bolt hole on front of battery tray
Here is a picture. I would have thought the a/c clamp would have been on the other side. I have never seen a a/c truck in person.

Re: Bolt hole on front of battery tray
Just went and looked at mine and it is for the bracket that holds the AC lines where they go through the core support.

Re: Bolt hole on front of battery tray
Cool. Thank you for looking. I appreciate it. Maybe I can use it to mount a tab for my new headlight harness relays since I dont have a/c.

Re: Bolt hole on front of battery tray
The hole in the picture is for the bolt that holds the bracket to the inner fender. The A/C bracket hole is on the engine side of the battery tray.

Re: Bolt hole on front of battery tray
Thanks. After putting in the battery tray last night I realized what it was for. I hadnt payed attention but didnt think that bolt hole was that close to the inner fender. There was no bolt in it when I pulled it out. Guess the PO took it out and never put it back.
I will put a bolt back in it just in case. Thanks guys.
