Re: where is a good GAS TANK thread...

Here are some links to various Gas Tank Relocation Threads.....
49-52 Chevy Passenger Car Tank, How To Thread

73-87 Blazer Tank, How To Thread

Camaro First Generation Tank, How To Thread

Thread with pictures of various tanks including CPP aluminum & Ford Falcon Tanks

Boyd Welding, Tank Picture and Video

Filler Neck Options
Be sure to study the finished installation photos. Some of these tanks, such as the Blazer - CPP - Camaro tanks, are visible hanging down under the truck. This is especially true if you will be running a rear roll pan and not a bumper. Some people don't like this look, some don't care.

Re: where is a good GAS TANK thread...

I did the blazer tank installation also, did it a little differently, here are some pictures, we also had to install the bed a little differently, it seemed like there was some interferance with the height of the tank and the crossmember on a 66 fleetside that did not exist on the 67 up install. I will post those crossmember mods in a little while.

here is a link to the install, the truck is still just a rolling chasis so I can update pictures any time. Kieth

I need to take more pictures, these are not quite step by step will update.
