Re: Has anyone on here done all of their own work
Everything on mine was done in my shop except the firewall shaving and the painting on the inside of the cab and engine compartment...

Re: Has anyone on here done all of their own work
So far I've done everything myself with only two exceptions so far. I had a tire shop mount and balance the tires, and my wife helped me put in the windshield and back window. I was scared to death I would crack my nice windshield, but it actually went in rather nicely... and doesn't leak in Washington weather!

Re: Has anyone on here done all of their own work
So far I have done everything myself on my 72', except rebuilding the 700R4 (had a buddy do it while at DADC) and tire mount balance/alignments.... As previously stated, I cant afford to pay someone to keep four vehicles going, I also enjoy the challenge/satisfaction/reward of doing it myself.

Re: Has anyone on here done all of their own work
Dont want to be the fly in the ointment, but I thought the thread was: did you do 100% of the build, not everything but the ????????? Very few can do it all, not even myself. finding some one the can sew upolestery, bore a block, burn metal, do body work and paint is far and few between. No direspect intended so save the hate mail. (txfirefighter your a talented man, I've seen your posts)
