It's too bad you live so far away! I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

I have a 1986 C-20 crew cab, with a rebuilt 350 (about 3000 miles on it), rebuilt turbo 400 (about 700 miles on it) and a 4.11 equipped 14-bolt full floating rear end.

White outside, blue interior, basic Scottsdale model so only power steering and power brakes.

I've put in Autometer gauges and a so-so Kenwood cassette deck, but virtually unmodified.

I'm sure you can find something closer

I am picking one up tomorrow. I'll get back to you with more details. All I know is that it has a 454 all original and around 50K original documented miles. Very clean.

bigblock73,
Thanks for posting that link! That is my cab that I had posted!

wildmanaaron,
If you are looking for parts, I have that complete cab assy and eight doors. I also have a 1980 Chevy one ton 4x4 crewcab that I had on ebay about 6 months ago. It has a rebuilt trans and 454 engine. I need around $2200 out of it. The body is in really bad shape though.
PM me if you want pics sent to you.
Mike

A neighbor of mine has one, I called him awhile back about buying it but he wanted more than I thought it was worth at the time. I think its a 79 but not sure, rebuilt 350 and transmission(he didn't say what one). Its really rusty, the bed is pretty much see-through, and the floor is almost Fred Flinstone style but it would probably be a start, he wanted about $800

well listen to this . I was at an auction this morning. I went specifically for an astro van for my dad just for the drivetrain. It was to be one of the last vehicles to go that day. I only took a few hundred $ because the astro was wrecked. I spotted the exact truck you were looking for in the corner with a number that was not listed in my books. I had all the books with listings and been the day before to view vehicles. I saw nothing else interesting at that time. well 25 vehicles before my dads , which I did not win, they let this 89 4x4 3500 SRW 350TBI go for $375.It was a stripper model with only dual large front lights and the body was beat up but on the easy to replace parts,no rust showing.117K . I didn't feel too bad about it because it won't fit in my garage but as an avid 73-87 pickup guy it killed me to know that I had enough on me to buy it especially after loosing the astro van. I always tell the wife I would like to make one into a short box. I looked up the guy who bought it only to find out that he ,like most there that day,did not speak clear english so I walked away as he held up 10 fingers, I guess meaning a thousand bucks? I had only one finger I needed for him. , DAVE

SD does not have quite the rust problem that MN has, but we have our share.

The body on this is pretty bad. The fenders would be easier to replace. The cab is fixable, but it is a non-ac cab. The box would be easier to replace.

I have an AC cab and eight doors for this truck (4 power doors and 4 straight shells). I also have most of another front end. I'd throw all of them in for the $2200. Talk to me real nice and I might even be able to come up with some of the AC stuff for the cab.

If ANYONE is interested in this truck, drop me a line. I'd like to move this before winter. I might even be open to offers.
