Stock Front Coil Height Question

I made the mistake of not measuring the height of the new stock front coils I put on my truck. I removed a pair of "Western" drop coils and have them for measurement. They are approx. 11 1/2 inches tall. I'm wanting to split the difference between the now stock coils and the western drop coils to get the look I was after.

I cannot find a part number on the western coils to use as reference nor can I find a contact number for Western Chassis to ask this question to a tech.

Any input will be appreciated.

I would think it would be tough to determine because the spring rates could be different, giving them different drop rates vs. stock.

Easiest thing would be to look at it with the current stock springs, figure how much you want it to drop, and order new springs with that amount of drop. It should be accurate when measured against the new stock springs (no sag from age yet).

Or you can just cut the new front springs (one coil is 2-2.5" drop).

I went thru some front coil issues with my '70 truck. Ended up re-installing a set of stock front spring . They are 13 & 1/2 inches tall.
