Power drum brakes???
I have a 67 C10 4x4 stepside. It has manual drum brakes. I'd like to upgrade to discs but don't have the cash right now. Can I run a power booster to the drums for a little help stopping? This thing doesn't like to slow down!

I upgraded my White '67 and I didn't even have to unhook the brake lines... Nice improvement. LockDoc

Just go easy bending the steel lines to the MC and it will be easy. TIP - unbolt the MC before trying to remove the linkage bolt from the brake pedal - it will drop it down so it will clear the steering column, otherwise, you will have to drop the column.

Thanks for the info guys, and that's what I'll do, just add a power booster. I'm new to the site, how do I find the parts for sale? Thanks

Just scroll down to the bottom of this page and you will see the "Forum Jump" box. Click on the down arrow on the right side and scroll down to "The 1967-1972 Chevrolet & GMC Pickups Parts Board" and click on it. It will take you to the parts for sale forum. LockDoc

Re: Power drum brakes???
Shipping can be prohibitive over any distance since they are fairly heavy if a complete unit. I was going to buy one on the forum, but the $40 unit was going to cost $60 to ship. Ended up finding one locally instead.
