fender repair panels?
so where can i get fender repair panels for my passenger side front fender? i'm lookin for front and rear patch panels. i looked on lmcjunk.com and only found ones for the rear. i would mostly like to find ones for the front, since i think i can use my old passenger fender for the rear patch.

Re: fender repair panels?
+1 on ClassicHeartbeat. Brothers also has a nice front cup patch which has the "inner" shell unlike most of the others.

Re: fender repair panels?
now that i think about it, i may need to graft the entire nose from the current fender to the replacement fender since the donor truck had some damage on the nose of the fender. but i will look into classic heartbeat and brothers as well

Re: fender repair panels?
Impala Bob's has truck parts. Here is the front fender patch. Pretty pricey.
http://www.bobschevytrucks.com/1967-...ection-rh.html Classic Heartbeat has them beat by $20 http://www.classicheartbeat.com/cata...nder%20tip.htm

Re: fender repair panels?
Who was the vendor? I checked out brothers and clasic heartbeat. The patch from brothers is a lot cheaper. I might need to check out gmcpauls next.

Re: fender repair panels?
GMC Paul sells them.
Here's a link to the image. Here's a link to the page that the part is on. (4th from the bottom) http://www.gmcpauls.com/Patch_Panels.htm I apologize, I just saw that they only sell the driver's side. Last edited by 99-LS1-SS; 05-05-2011 at 01:22 PM. |

Re: fender repair panels?
I picked mine up from Top Banana at the Charlotte Autofair last fall....I figure since you were in WA you would be close enough to Wes at Classic Heartbeat.....just know buying from a board member not only insures that it's a part they use on their builds, so quality is what they want to sell, but they'll provided the valuable customer service that goes with it
