anyone had this happen before? (yet)

Noticed today that when I use the turn signals, the drivers side blinks as normal but when I use the passenger side it goes really slow-it blinks but really slow. I changed the flasher unit in the fuse panel and checked both bulbs and they work, again just slow. any suggestions on what to do next?

agree with the ground check, follow the wires inside your radiator support/inner fenders to see if one came undone, also make sure all your turn signal bulbs are working. Make sure turn signal wires are connected tightly (the factory rubber connectors)...hope you solve it.

The side marker bases also need to be grounded, so be sure to check those in addition to the turn signal bases.
