This is a set of lowering brackets for 1973 thru 1987 Chevrolet and GMC 1/2 ton truck, Suburban and full size Jimmy and Blazer. These brackets relocate the axle on top of the leaf springs, lowering the rear of your ride approx 5 inches. Quick, simple and inexpensive way to get down. New, $35.00 shipped for the pair.

do you have to flip the rear axle over to put the pin on top and if so what does that do for your pinion angle? Very intrested just have this question.

You don't really flip the axle, just move it from below the springs to above the springs resting in the brackets. Thanks, Fred

When we do them, we just get the 4 inch drop front springs from Summit,, around $100.00 if I remember right. Thanks, Fred.

a couple other questions sorry to bother will i need to notch my frame? do i need to do anything other than put my springs under the axle and bolt on? can i reuse the stock hardware?
