CPP Axle Recall

Just got a letter from CPP stating that there is a chance my conversion axles might be the incorrect length. My problem is I already have them installed and don't want to take them back out to measure. The brake backing plates are removed because I'm going to be running disks. Does anyone have a correct measurement I can reference between the 4 bolt flange on the housing to the axle flange?

Re: CPP Axle Recall

I am thinking that someone at CPP should be able to research their shipping records and compare them to their inventory on-hand at the time of shipping. If they keep computerized records, they they should have a pretty good idea about who got the defective merchandise. It may be that data that led them to contact you to let you know about the possibilities.

The ball is in your court. They've done their part to alert you to the issues.
