Re: My First Dime
I have JDM uppers and I worked on the lowers . I took Drop arms for springs and cut them and mad my own . was pretty easy . I didnt have to cut much with the 22 i just cant ride low and turn . I have steels on it now and can ride low and turn .

Re: My First Dime
You can't lay pinch and still have the handling and ride that a full Porterbuilt suspension gives you with rack & pinion no matter what wheels....my opinion. Once you go PB you won't go back...
Truck is perfect buddie... Posted via Mobile Device |

On the turning with the 22 it didnt turn good in tight places . it took alot of backing up and going forward to get in some places . the smaller wheels are better but not perfect on the turning . i can just turn better with it layed out on the steels |

Re: My First Dime
The Porterbuilt tube control arm's will move your wheels in, I forget how much.He also custom sizes them to be more narrow per you needs... I like some big wheels on some of these trucks also, especially the 22"s that Delmo has been building with the stock hubcaps. But I guess I just like the old school look on these 60-66's. Either way looks good

as far as the dropmember i thought it was around 2 '' it brought everything in it looks like i may have to modify my upper a arms and make them shorter because my wheels are flat with no camber aired out on my suburban which makes the wheels closer to the fenders for less turning while cruising low! |
