And here it is "what the hell did i get into?!"
So I got my truck up and running great!! so ive been tackling some body work... The bed is pretty bad, but i know i cant affors another short fleet.. I have very basic tools.. Last night I tackled a huge dent on teh top of my tailgate.. i welde a washer to it and pulled it up with my hoist while i massaged the bulge on th esides and heated it with a torch. ist one worked after that my welds would break.. the body doesnt realy seem that bad but once yourealy pay attention its like damn!!!

yeah, mine is definitely a 50 footer. im almost ready to start bodywork. i have my new to me compressor, but no 220 hook up in my garage.

yeah its finished, theres a spot i believe was intended for 220. and i have the room for additions in my box. can you do the job?

thats a negative sir..... but from what i undertand is if you have a switch in your box that goes to your garage. to just one single outlet you can just swap it to a 220 breaker and throu in a 220 receptacle.. in other words you dont have to run wires through your finised garage.. let me talk to my step fatherinlaw (that sounds weird).. he know about this stuff and loves has a 72 swb 4x4.. im sure he'd do it for some parts or somethin... he works nights

If there is a double breaker space in your box, you can just get the appropriate 220 breaker and run an outlet close to the breaker box. This allows you to run the wires without cutting out the wall.
If the box doesn't have a double space available, you can get breakers that have 2 mini 110 breakers. Use two of those to replace 4 current breakers, and you now have space for a 220 breaker. Of course, local codes apply, blah, blah.

yup, i have the space. and there is a spot opposite of the box on the inside of the garage for a resepticle. sorry for jacking your thread JORGIE.
