Question Motor id trouble

Number on tab on passenger side is V0509800. I have had other people check to see that I am reading it right and they come up with the same number. Any help would be great.Just bought this 67 stepside shortbox as a project and would like to id this motor. Thanks

Re: Motor id trouble

Don't know about that number, but there is one on the back of the block below and to the driver's side of the distributor. That is the one I used to ID my engine.
