rare truck

i found what i think is a rare truck today. atleast for me i have had over 100 of these 67 to 72's over the last 25 years. none of them or any i have saw in person has had the v6 eng. i have saw pic.s & heard of them but never saw 1 till today.
this truck only has 70000 miles on it and it shows. doors open and shut almost like new. seat doesn't look like it's been set in.
heres a few pic.s.

Re: rare truck

That's a pretty cool truck. Not sure how rare the V6 is but I've seen a few for sale lately with the V6.

Re: rare truck

Somewhat rare with the power brakes/steering. The V-6 was used into 69 on gmc trucks. Any cab interior pics? Good find!

Re: rare truck

no cab or interior pic.s but it all looked nice and solid from what i could tell. i told him i would think about it. i wouldn't care to have it as a camper. but with the doors and cab that soild if i got it i would have to start another swb project. still thinking.

Too bad that wasn't up here. I'd buy it and drive it as is. I want a '67-72 Camper truck for the summer.

Wow, neat truck for sure. The inside of the camper looks like a time capsile! It would be a shame to cut it up in my opinion. Joseph

Re: rare truck

Those V6's are a GMC thing and although they are not rare thay are also not commonly found. Parts are a little hard to come by.

Re: rare truck

I guess my idea of "neat old truck" and "metal hulk" differs from you lot.

Having restored a couple old campers from the 1970's in my time. I bid you good luck if you buy it. It's a venture I will not do again.
