In for parts: 1971 GMC 350/AC
I just brought this one in to part out. 1971 GMC Custom 350/TH350 and AC. Original paint, but it has some rust issues. Visor area has cancer, door bottoms have a little rust. Bed floor has rust up front. See anything you need? I'm keeping the vintage slots (unless some one wants to drive here and give some mad cash!!).

Re: In for parts: 1971 GMC 350/AC
How much for the spark plug heat shields and the small 2-wire spark plug retainers (there should be 4 of them); and could I get a picture of them also? I need these parts so I can restore them for my project. Thanks, Casey

Re: In for parts: 1971 GMC 350/AC
OK guys, I've been cutting grass all day! Here's more info:
Ledzepp - I'm aware of the rules and was going to post prices as soon as someone tells me what they want. tow guys / w314speed - Pass. side fender does have some cancer at the bottom under the battery (pic). Bumper is perfectly straight with no dents at all. But there is a spot where the chrome is flaking off. $100 + shipping for bumper and brackets. botmfedr1 - fan shroud $40, complete SBC A/C bracket set (7pcs) $100. prices + shipping. 72 Cheyenneman - I have all shields, retainers you are needing - $40 shipped to you. FL71C-10 - power steering components - $125 shipped to you. FrankC - doors look great on the outside, inside corners look good. rust on both bottoms (see pics) - $150 for the pair (bare doors), $200 complete with 4 good regulators. No shipping unless you arrange. badboy007 - L side fender is perfect, R side has rust on the bottom under battery. L fender - $75, R fender - $50 + shipping.

Re: In for parts: 1971 GMC 350/AC
I'm gonna pass on both the fender and the bumper. I'm looking for a no metal work needed fender. The shipping on the bumper plus the 100$ asking price is out of my reach. Thanks.

JQ...I will take the heat shields and spark plug retainers, along with the hardware/fasteners that go with them; but could you send me some pictures first? I'm looking for very nice heat shields that can be restored for a correct restoration. Thanks, Casey

Re: In for parts: 1971 GMC 350/AC
Thanks for the pics. Are both doors identical with rust? I have two here that look the same. Can I get a shot of the other inside door?
Thank you for posting pics after cutting grass in the swelter. Frank

Re: In for parts: 1971 GMC 350/AC
you don't really want those slots ... they are a pain to keep clean ... I'll take them off your hands should you come to your senses and decide to get rid of them.
seriously, if you decide to let 'em go ... keep me in mind! |

Re: In for parts: 1971 GMC 350/AC
FrankC - other door is in same condition (pic added)
72Cheyenneman - pic. added of shields. HDBob - I pulled the bezels and ran a SOS pad across them and - WOW! This is by far the best set I've had. No dents or pings at all. They have an awesome shine. They are not new, but definitely don't show their age. Look at pics! $80 + shipping. I'll throw the GMC emblems in if you buy the bezels. 67 GMC stepside - good working mechanical distributor, cap & coil - $40 shipped to you. Tow guys or W314speed. How about $75 + shipping the bumper and brackets? Perfect bumper to re-plate. Better than the paper-thin re-pops.
