Another variation of the Gas Filler Relocation.

For those who are installing a tank under the bed, and don't want to put a door on the outside , or go to the trouble of hiding the filler behind the marker light, tail light, or license plate, here is a quick, cheap, easy, "semi hidden" solution.

1. Atwood, angled marine deck filler neck, with vent. $ 27 off of ebay.

2. Cut a hole for the hoses in the left rear corner of the bed floor.

3. Fab up a simple enclosure from some scrap sheet metal.

4. Either screw or tack weld it in, and finish to match. ( this one will be covered with spray on bedliner, so being a little rough won't matter)

It is easily accessable, and with the tailgate shut, it's barely even noticeable.

Looks great. I did a similar method on my 86. I baked it for 45 minutes after a rattle can finish. Amazing how durable it is.

Heres what I did since the bed will be used for light duty hauling. Bed liner is planned for inside the bed. The bump is to clear the ford 9" Moser housing and the plate is for the fuel pump access
