CL Ugly. Not for the faint of heart.

I'm glad this isn't mine.

Re: CL Ugly. Not for the faint of heart.

All those keywords and no price? What's ugly? I don't like the wheels or interior but it looks like any other truck just with the top removed, which I also wouldn't do. But,it could look good with a few changes. I'd like to add some ladder racks and use it as a beach town work truck.

Looks like a lot of work went into this already, I kind of like it, Id change a few things and use it as a nice weather cruiser. Nothing wrong with that.

Re: CL Ugly. Not for the faint of heart.

I think there should be a rule that states when someone thinks something is ugly or just wrong ect ect, they should have to show what they drive. I'd be willing to bet its had nowhere near the time or effort put into it. I love ALL forms of Cars and trucks, It may not be what I'd do but I dont make Negitive comments or BASH it. Its all in the eye of the beholder and I'm sure the owner is very proud of it. If you dont care for it move on.
Sorry for the Rant but this happens WAY to often on this site

Re: CL Ugly. Not for the faint of heart.

In this case beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To a mudder a slammed truck is ugly, to a purest anything not stock is blasphemy, personnally I think those plastic pink flamingos and garden gnomes in the front yard are targets to be eliminated beneath large tire tracks...but that's just me.

exactly...i personally dont like the truck, its a little too different for my taste...its exactly that, different but not ugly. alot of money and effort have been put into it for someone to just bash it like that

It's actually against board code of conduct here. This thread is headed for the can.

Re: CL Ugly. Not for the faint of heart.

believe it or not but my truck when I bought it had the top removed also. It was fun until I got rained on a few times and then it got cold. lol Not quite so fun then.

I don't know if I have any pictures of how it was when I purchased it. I couldn't complain much because I got it for $700 and it was driveable, well, after I fixed the brakes.

Good times,

Keith
