Rear Disc Conversion from Summit Racing
Anyone tried this yet? Debating rear brake options and this looked pretty good...What are you 4wh disc guys running for brake booster/master cylinder?
I am trying to decide on something smaller yet easy to hook up for brake booster. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RSD-TRD4705/?rtype=10

Re: Rear Disc Conversion from Summit Racing
I'm using a stock booster, 72 corvette manual master cylinder, and a manual adjustable proportioning valve.
I have LT1 camaro rear calipers and POL dual piston calipers on the front. |

Anyone else?
I have thought of going with Wilwood calipers, they are on sale at Jegs racing for $105.00 each..... http://www.jegs.com/i/Wilwood/950/120-10938-RD/10002/-1

I used to work at The Right Stuff, very very good quality parts. Top notch support and back of their products. Great people and a great family owned business!

Yes...they are on sale! $59 off, each! The calipers in the link are 1.25" pistons, however, you can get the 2" piston calipers for the same price...I did, in black. |

Re: Rear Disc Conversion from Summit Racing
Wow, great timing. I was going to order these from Scottshotrods, as they are board members and answered a pad question for me, but that is tough to pass up.

Very hard to pass up. I really wanted to keep the emergency brake in the rear but now may have to go for the wilwoods for all 4 corners.
