Re: Do i shave this hole?
That's the heater fan inlet. If you don't plan on putting a heater back, or are going to a different style heater, then you might shave it.

Re: Do i shave this hole?
Thanks for the quick reply. I plan on going with a vintage air system. Going with something like this I should be ok to shave the inlet right? Just being sure, we are bout to start the welding.

I have to say I laughed when I read the title of this thread....
Anyway, most all your aftermarket heat-A/C units will not require that one so you need to decide what your going to use first, if you were staying original then you would need it for your heater. |

Re: Do i shave this hole?
I have the vintage air. you can shave that hole. If you get on their site and download their instructions you can get a template for where the pass thru needs to be. Then you can fab one up and fill the rest.

Do I shave this hole?
Ya'll are badass! I new I would get a quick response with the title...
Thanks for the support. I think I will pass for now on the extension but that is a great idea, would finish it out really nice. I am pretty excited that I have finally been able to get back going on the truck. Just need to get a few more parts to put it together once the cab is done. I will add some photos later...
