Re: Porterbuilt trailing arm crossmember

Okay guys.. I have decided to keep the crossmember. I talked to a buddy tonight and we think we might be able to just modify it so I can use it with my one piece driveshaft. I am going to keep it and see if we can get it to work. Sorry.

I am pretty sure you can make it work. Might want to contact Nate and see what he recommends.

Re: Porterbuilt trailing arm crossmember

Here's the crossmember for the 1-piece driveshaft.
I wonder if you could just replace the lower bar with a new one,... or add a "loop" in the center, after you cut out the bearing support plate.

Re: Porterbuilt trailing arm crossmember

Yes I think I am going just cut out the carrier bearing area and just add a loop. It should be fairly easy.. Then I will probably buy his trailing arms and custom make a rear shock upper mount.

Yes but it can also work with the Factory trailing arms. You probably will need a two piece driveshaft however I did see this in use with a one piece but it was not on air. Let me know if you want me to PM you my paypal address. I can get it boxed up and out the door hopefully tomorrow if you pay today.
