LCA alignment?

I put 72 control arms on my 65 along with the rotors etc, but I was thinking....How do I know if I have the LCA's lined up right? Is there a way to ensure that it's correctly lined up or is it.....if its together with springs in and all ..it must be right? I doubt the latter...lol. If someone can shed some light on this for me I would greatly appreciate it.

Re: LCA alignment?

The lower control arm shafts have a 'hole' in the shaft that fits over a short 'stub' on the bottom of the x-member (the stubs are located between the front u-bolt flanges). You move the arm fore/aft until the stub seats into the hole & then tighten the lower control arm u-bolts.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
