2'drop coil question.
Will I have any problems putting in my new front coil springs, they are 2" drop springs. I Don't have any weight , its just the frame. I Figure since they are 2" shorter they should go in with out any problems. I have the control arms on and ready to go for this weekend.

We did when we put coil springs in the front of my truck. We ended up putting 2 concrete blocks and two people on the frame to hold it down.
Later I read a post where you can run a chain under the floor jack and up and over the upper control arm and when you jack it up the chain will pull things in place. I have never tried this method yet so I am not sure about how it all works.

Is engine weight alone enough to jack up the lower control arm to install the spindle ?
