You may want to price all that glass, wheels, and tires before you get too far. I don't know, but I have a feeling all the glass will be expensive.

Oh man, I hope you can get this. I'd hate to see another 60-61 GMC left to rot. If I know those V-6's, that sucker will fire up after a little tinkering and fresh gas.

Yea..has the V-6. Sent the owner's friend a letter with the pictures showing the broken windows and missing tires. My son wants that so bad as a matched set with my 60.
Let's just hope that the owner just doesn't have the time to mess with it. I know the owner would like it off his property, but was pretty adamant that he would not do anything with it without his friend's permission. I will stay on it until I either get solid NO..leave me alone or I contact the owner. I am going to go back and try to get the VIN number and run it through DMV. If it was registered in Arizona, I can find out who the owner is that way. And as far as those stripes...I think they made the 4X4 climb higher.

. Reading through this thread, I was wondering if the Suburban was stolen and was curious if he'd ever heard back from the owner. Disappointed to reach the end of the thread without any closure. Frame rails and gas tank are liable to be filled w/ blow...   . .

It's a shame the kids got to it, I too noticed it had discs on the front..must have been changed over sometime or a frame swap...

Sorry I left this thread unfinished. I could never really get any decent dialog going with the owner of the property on how to contact the trucks owner. About a year later the Burb disappeared from the lot. So wither they took it away or somebody just grabbed it. So the end result is no Burb.
