any one got C20 stance photos?
I'd like to see some C20's that have been lowered. Mines stock height with rear leaf springs. I've heard of an axle flip, is that the same as a c-notch kit? and how much drop can you get out of that?

An axle flip is when you relocate the axle so that it is sitting on top of the springs as oppsed to underneath them as they are now. A c-notch is where to notch out the frame right above the axle to allow more suspension travel on a lowered vehicle. If you go with the axle flip, you'll probably want to c-notch the frame also.

Oh, and for how much drop that'll give you, measure from the center of the axle to the bottom of the leaf springs. Double that number and then add the thickness of the leaf springs.

Hey special70gmc
How did you lower your truck, I assume drop spindles on the front, but what about the rear?

i have 2'' drop springs and 21/2 drop 3/4 ton spindals. i fliped the rear over the leafs with home made spring mounts. there is still no front end , engine, tranny ect.. so it still will drop down some also im not going to use those tires/wheels cause there 16.5s and there going to rub other wise. im so excited that i can finally see the ride height i know that not alot of people lower 3/4s but i didnt see why not. -kyle
