Found some steel 8 lug steel wheels on craigslist. Wondering if they would fit my 71 C20?
Thanks in advance |

Re: 89 3/4 ton Burb wheels.....
update.... didn't see where I edit this post so, first reply to it should serve same purpose.
Just looked at the wheels on my truck, (assuming) they would be 16.5 inchers. But the tire size on them ends with just r16. Does that mean I have 16 inch wheels. I know, I know, seems super dumb to ask but just making sure, the OP was for me looking at a set of 16 inch steelies and don't want them if I don't need them. On my current wheel I mistakenly read, stamped into the wheel itself, 16x6.5, many layers of paint and maybe too many beers thought it had said 16.5 Maybe if the burb wheels off of craigslist are a lil wider I will still get them. Thanks all |

Yes, they are 16" rims. The factory hasn't put on 16.5" rims in a long time. The newer ones will fit your truck, but some have a lot of backspacing, making them sit a long ways inside the fenders.
I had a friend offer me a set off of a an 08 Duramax for free. Nice of him, but after I set one on the truck, I saw that they were several inches inside the fender and just looked odd.
