Question Radio Hook-up

This radio came out of my 60 Gmc and I'd like to see if it works. Picture shows two push on connection points on the left and two push on connections on the right .Any help appreciated..

Re: Radio Hook-up

I've got the same radio. I'm taking out the cheezy 80's chepo radio and putting in the stock one. Mine may still have the connector on it but I can't remember. I'll look at it today when I get home , it's sitting on my bench ready to install. If you don't have the connetor under your dash I'm sure you can get one. I think one wire is for positive and the other is ground.

Re: Radio Hook-up

It has to be plugged to a speaker or you'll blow the capacitor. Takes awhile to warm up as well.

Re: Radio Hook-up

Tought for me to tell in the pic, but two are speaker, one is power & one for the light, they grounded thru mounting in the dash. You should be able to follow the wires to figger out which is "light", partner to it should be the power, with the other two being the + &- speaker.
