Brake line flare fitting size

Parts store guy says they are 10mm x .875 inverted flare (like on large Japanese cars).

I say they're 3/8 x 24 inverted flare, and researched it on the interweb.

Who's right? I'll explain later.

BTW i do not have access to a thread gauge and parts store guy won't let me use theirs.

Truck is an '88 crewcab DRW w/ hydroboost

Re: Brake line flare fitting size

Your gonna love this.......could be either, at that time in the squarebodies GM was jumping back and forth between metric and SAE for brake lines. On a 1988 it is probably 10mm.
