vacuum leak/ vacuum hose help, urgent
so I started the truck up today after driving it last night with no issues.... I got about 30 seconds in the warm up of the motor and heard kinda a pop followed by what sounds like a bad vacuum leak.... so i stopped the motor and took the cleaner off and noticed the below (see picture). what connects to that and shouldn't there be something..... maybe plugged off. I couldn't find anything else
also where does this hose plug into, its been plugged since I got the truck.. mabe I need to get it plugged up in the right spot...

Re: vacuum leak/ vacuum hose help, urgent
The intake port is a take off for a/c- do you have a/c? if not block it off and call it good-I guess some one have been using it for power brakes as well. If you have neither block it and call it good. The port on the carb is a full vacuum port that attaches to the breather for the cold air pull off on the snorkle. Again if no stock breather it is not needed and can be blocked as well.

Don't park that truck anywhere close to Scoggins/Markham is you don't want it to disappear! I built the Lincoln Corner guvmint subtuhdized apartments there. I apologize.
