LS1 swap questions

friend of mine offered an LS1 out of his vette for $1500.

before i get into it. if anyone can help me i could use a list of things need to be done/purchased/fabricated to make this possible. thanks!

1500 is kind of steap for an LS1, the LS1 has lost favor with all the big inch Ls series engine out there. I paid 1800 for a 1999/2000 complete LQ4 with complete harness and 4L80E trans.

There is a forum on here just for LS swaps and is packed full of information. Spend a few nights reading through it and I bet you learn a ton.
