Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
I think these wheels come in a regular finish and a polished finish. Its hard to tell looking at different Tahoes on the road. It may have been different years the polish is brighter? I went for these because they were highly polished, but still not chromed.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
I've been glued to this build from the day you cut a mint suburban in half, don't think I've commented yet though. I absolutely love the truck, love the balance between old and new, love the color scheme, I'm surprised how much I like the late model wheels on this body style! I think this truck would look great at ANY ride height. Now that it's FINALLY starting to look like a truck, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to see more!
PS: Cool garage

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Don't need the help just yet, I still have to mount the rear air bags, panhard rod, rear brake dust shields, e-brake cables, hard brake lines, shock mounts, and shocks. Then I need the helpers.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Speaking of progress, I made a little.
Radiator support is on for the last time, fenders and fender liners too. My spaghetti dinner all slipped through the giant wiring hole, huge plastic connectors and all. I had to trim the bottom inside edges of the fender liners to let them clear the wider late model frame. I took out a 4 inch by 4 inch corner.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Sure is, but I may be going to go out on a limb here, but I'll just bet that Drew has a plan that will make it look simple.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Nice work! On the harness...the simple wiring is one of the things I enjoy about these trucks...so I don't envy you at all at this stage of the build But I see all the labels so hopefully you'll make quick work of sorting out what goes where

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Will you need a shorter master cylinder resevoir or will it clear the hood? (Sorry if it's already been covered)

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
If I measured correctly I think I should need a piece of felt on the cap. It's that close. I needed to get it up off of the steering column and shift linkage. It is covered earlier, but don't remember what page.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.
Wow, I'm either really dense or wound up tight...you said your spaghetti dinner slipped and I'm thinking "why is he eating in the truck" and "that's dedication" and "man, I wish my wife would bring dinner to the garage"...then I scrolled down and saw the "spaghetti" mess of wiring.
Did you end up using those manifolds, if so how do they fit?
