1979 gmc
I bought a 79 gmc 1 ton sierra classic today. It was in a junkyard not far from me. It has lots of options and I could not let it be hauled away for scrap. The truck still has its bucket seats and console. It is missing the correct 4 speed tilt column. The truck has 2 spids. Here are some pics of them.

Re: 1979 gmc
I dont know. I meant to upload a pic of the truck, but I forgot. It has a big car hauler bed on it that is no good so I will sell the bed and try to get the truck back running again.

Here is a pic of the truck.
It looks like it has a large stripe that divides the white and red paint. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 1979 gmc
Talk about options on that truck! That thing looks wicked solid. I like the steps on the side, gonna keep em ?

Re: 1979 gmc
The truck is solid. The only rust I see is on the right fender. Ill get it cleaned up and take some better pics.
Yeah it has lots of options. Some of them are unusual for a one ton truck. Things like the sliding rear window and the cargo lamp. Also the headlamp warning buzzer. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 1979 gmc
Do any of you think this two tone paint/stripe combo is original on this truck?
