OMG does everything happen in 3's!
So I had this rad leak, easy fix it was just the cap. However, when I was laying around looking at the truck (71 fleet) I found my tranny was leaking from the front and my rear seal is leaking at the left rear wheel. Does everything happen in 3's? I'm really pissed about the tranny because I paid a shop $400.00 to go through it and replace all the seals and gaskets! Now only a year later its leaking again? Should I go back to the tranny guy?
Also have a vacuum leak that I can't find! Any advice on that one! |

Try the tranny guy.The worst that can happen is he says(NO) it's out of warranty. The vac leak should be an easy find.Just take a can of carb spray or WD and spray the areas where it may be leaking. You'll hear a change in the sound.

If it's an A/C equipped truck, check for vacuum leaks on the vacuum tank that's mounted to the evaporator core housing. (near the firewall). My truck had a vacuum leak there. It took me forever to find it.
