How to grease speedo?
I took out my gauges to clean and do some lighting repairs...My speedo has always 'wavered', been accurate but jumps around a bit...Will greasing it fix it? If so what should I use, or any other ideas on fixing it?

Re: How to grease speedo?
WD-40 is NOT a lubricant, it's a water disperser. If it helps, it's probably because it washed some sludge, etc. out. You can buy special speedo cable grease, the newer stuff is graphite and works better. I like the idea of a zerk but haven't seen that trick.
