Re: If your truck could talk

I don't want mine to talk.I have one that I've had for 30 years. It might tell where some of the bodies are buried.I've had it thru 2 marriages and xyz relationships. Not to mention way too many nights that I don't recall or at least not clearly.I'm pretty sure the "Statute of limitations" has run the course on most of that stuff But I do have a wife, and they don't recognize that particular statute.

Mine would ask for some new bandaids (gaskets) on the transfer case and engine so it could stop bleeding everywhere.

Re: If your truck could talk

If my truck could talk, I would tell it to shut up, the gf has enough commentary as it is!

Seriously, I'm sure it would say, "Thanks for unloading that garage to make a spot for me, buddy. You ain't much but you're all I've got".

Re: If your truck could talk

Mine would say---- look he is so nice, my great paint, nice wood bed, washes me, pampers me, takes to auto shows so I can see all my buddies. Then ..Then he takes me down the 1320 making me scream up to 7200rpm hurting my rear and the transbrake thing really hurts my joints. If he feeds me the juice thats it im done.

Re: If your truck could talk

"If your Truck could talk":

It would say: "Thank you for taking really, really good care of me and keeping me Warm and Dry in the Winter and away from any Rain. Also thanks for the New Engine, Tranny, Suspension and Interior. And finally, thank you for taking pride in me."

My response would be: "The pleasure's been all mine."

Re: If your truck could talk

I drove my truck to work today. This is usually not the case. I have a 38 mile one way commute with more than 50% of it in a 70mph interstate zone. Right now my truck would say,
"Man I love it when I can burn along at 3500 rpms"

Driving a 4 cylinder Ford Escort normally then passing Mr. Slow on the US highway this morning I said,
"Man I miss driving a V8 every day"

There is nothing like mashing that pedal down far enough to pull the th350 down a gear and launch around a car. 53.1 mph - 70 in about 0.00001 seconds. At least it seemed like 0.00001 seconds after the 4 cylinder experience.

My burb would say "I always knew you were gonna turn out weird, but I love you for fixing me up".

The pick up... "Finally an owner that knows whats wrong with me, and is taking care of all my ill adjusted parts".
